carburetor vs FI(fuel injection)
Q.no.1: first of all what is carburetor and FI ?
ans: carburetor and FI are the machine used for mixing fuel and air in bikes. thus machine plays vital role in bikes, since it help bikes to run. With out carburetor and FI a bike cannot operate because engine wont be getting enough mixture of fuel and air in proper ratio.
Q.no.2: Difference between carburetor and FI.
ans: honestly speaking there is not much difference between both carburetor and fi . A carburetor is old generation device where as FI is the new generation device. the ratio of fuel and air in carborator should be manage by manually. where as in Fi ratio of mixture is done by AI by looking the condition of bike.
FI gives engine proper mixture ,some time less mixture where as some time more mixture according to the need of bike but in carburetor ratio is fixed so it gives engine same of mixture again and again without looking the need of engine.
Q.no 3: which one is better?
ans: Fi is better than carburetor because it gives more power and better mileage than carburetor .
only problem with fi is that it is expensive and once it is damaged it cannot be repaired easily.
carburetor is cheap and it can be repaired easily when damaged but we need to clean it time to time for better mileage and more power.
Q.NO.4: how to identify carburetor and FI easily?
ans: we can easily identify carburetor and FI just by looking its apperance.Both carburetor and Fi are connected at the backside of engine.

As we can see in the photo carburetor connected at the back side of the engine, similarly Fi is also connected with engine in the same manner like carburetor . A carburetor looks bulky and have nearly cubical shape where as FI his nearly conical in shape .

we can also guess if a bike have have FI or carburetor from its brand and its price . for example yamaha company have FI in all its bikes but honda does not have FI in less segment bike . similarly expensive bikes have fi where as less expensive bikes have carburetor .
